National Pet Day
National Pet Day is celebrated annually on April 11th, founded by animal advocate Colleen Paige in 2006, to honor the joy pets bring and raise awareness for animals in shelters needing homes. It's a day to pamper your own pets with treats or toys, update their care (vaccines, tags), and support shelters through donations or adoption, recognizing all companions from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles.
