National Pancake Day

National Pancake Day is celebrated on September 26th, a day started in 2005 as "Lumberjack Day" for eating pancakes, but renamed to honor the dish, with IHOP also holding its own National Pancake Day, typically in February or March, offering free pancakes for charity.
