Compositions ✍️

The New Year is one of the most wonderful and joyful celebrations. It is the time when people forget their worries and welcome new dreams. My family begins preparing for this holiday in the last week of December. We clean our home, decorate it with lights, and set up a big New Year tree. I help my parents hang colorful ornaments and make paper snowflakes.

On December 31, our whole family gathers together. We cook tasty dishes, listen to cheerful music, and talk about the year that is ending. At midnight, we count the last seconds together and shout, “Happy New Year!” Fireworks light up the sky, and everyone smiles and hugs each other.

I love New Year because it gives me new energy and inspiration. It reminds me that every year is a chance to become better and happier.
