Lanterns drift across the night,
Softly glowing, pure and bright.
Each one carries dreams untold,
Of peace, of joy, of hearts of gold.

They float so high, they shine so far,
Each like a tiny, glowing star.
They speak of wishes, calm and true,
For me, for them, for all, for you.

So when you see those lanterns rise,
Remember love that never dies.
For Lunar New Year’s gentle call
Brings hope and light to one and all.
