Author: Memorial Day

Heroes Never Die

They say a hero’s never gone,
Their light lives on when dawn is drawn.
Through whispered winds and morning dew,
Their strength remains in me and you.

They faced the dark with steady hand,
They fought for peace across the land.
No fame they sought, no gold, no crown,
Just freedom’s smile, not sorrow’s frown.

So on this day, with tear and pride,
We thank the ones who never lied—
To duty’s call, to honor’s flame,
Forever etched, their noble name.
