For Every Soldier’s Name

For every soldier’s name we call,
There echoes freedom — strong and tall.
Their stories written in the sand,
Their courage carved across the land.

They left behind both fear and pain,
For strangers’ joy, for others’ gain.
Their families weep, their nations sing,
Of honor’s truth and suffering.

We’ll guard their names, both lost and known,
For peace they planted, love has grown.
And every year, when May appears,
We’ll bow our heads and shed our tears.
