Between Winter and Spring
Between the frost and budding green,
The groundhog stands — a sign unseen.
Of time that moves, of life’s slow flow,
Of what’s to come, we do not know.
But in his glance, we find our cheer,
For spring will come — if not this year.
Each shadow cast, each dawn’s embrace,
Reminds us hope will find its place.
