The Groundhog’s Promise
Oh little groundhog, small and wise,
You read the truth in winter skies.
The world awaits your yearly call,
To tell if snow will linger tall.
Yet shadow or no shade you see,
The world still turns, as it should be.
For seasons change and hearts renew,
And spring will always come — it’s true.
