Whispers of the Green
The wind blows softly through the trees,
It carries songs across the seas.
Of fields that bloom and skies that weep,
Of Earth’s deep wounds we long to keep.
Her voice is faint, yet strong with grace,
She calls for love in every place.
No crown or gold can buy her peace,
But kindness can, her pain release.
So on this Earth Day, take your stand,
And heal her gently, hand in hand.
For she’s the heart of all we do,
And what we give, comes back to you.
