Ode to the Carrot Cake
There are days that bloom with magic,
Days that whisper soft delight.
Today the carrot cake, nostalgic,
Becomes the hero of the night.
Warm and tender, gently fragrant,
Blended spice and golden crumb —
It turns the winter less reluctant,
Inviting cheer to every home.
And so we celebrate with laughter
National Carrot Cake Day today,
Where memories come chasing after
Like childhood dreams that never fade.
We taste the frosting rich and creamy,
We share a slice with those we love,
And suddenly the world seems dreamy,
As if it’s blessed from up above.
A carrot cake is more than flavor —
It’s warmth, tradition, family too.
May this sweet day bring joy to savor,
And fill your home with something new.
