A compliment is just a breath,
A simple string of quiet sound,
Yet how it lifts a weary heart,
And turns the heavy day around.

It travels farther than we know—
Past guarded thoughts, past hidden fears,
It breaks the walls we build with doubt
And softly wipes away the tears.

A gentle word becomes a seed
That blooms in places cold and bare;
It teaches hearts to hope again,
It teaches souls to truly care.

So speak with kindness, light and grace,
Let gratitude be what you share;
For compliments are bridges built
From one warm heart to another’s care.
