Poems are in the songs we hear,
In laughter, whispers, far and near.
They tell our stories, dreams, and fears,
They hold our secrets through the years.

From books to songs, from kids to grown,
Poems are everywhere, fully shown.
On March the twenty-first, we say,
“Let’s celebrate World Poetry Day!”

Write a verse, or read one too,
A poem can make the world feel new.
Rhymes and rhythms, lines that play,
Poems are magic every day.
