The Earth’s Pulse
The Earth beats softly like a heart,
With streams and lakes in every part.
Without their rhythm, clear and true,
What would the living creatures do?
On Water Day we learn again
That every raindrop counts as gain.
Preserve the pulse, the flow, the tide—
Let water’s gift forever guide.
