The Gift of a Pet
A quiet purr, a joyful bark,
They light the days and warm the dark.
They teach us patience, love, and care,
A friend who’s always truly there.
So let us hug, let us play,
And honor them this special day.
For every whisker, paw, and tail,
Brings joy and love that will not fail.
