When the Earth Remembers

The Earth remembers every tree,
Each careless cut, each poisoned sea.
She keeps our footprints in her clay,
And echoes what we leave each day.

Yet she forgives when care returns,
When fires fade and greed unlearns.
Her wounds grow green, her rivers clear,
When love replaces waste and fear.

The Earth remembers—so should we,
That healing starts with you and me.
