Companion of My Heart

You curl beside me, soft and warm,
A living shadow, safe from harm.
Your gentle purrs, your quiet grace,
Bring peace and calm to this small space.


Though you may roam, your heart is near,
A little friend I hold so dear.
Through sunlit days or rainy weather,
Our bond grows strong and lasts forever.
