The Language of Dogs
Dogs speak a tongue no book can teach,
A wordless vow within our reach.
In wagging tails and waiting near,
They say the things we need to hear.
They know the weight of lonely days,
The quiet cost of human ways.
They ask for little — food, a name,
Yet give us love without a claim.
If hearts could learn what dogs already know,
The world would heal, and kindness grow.
For in their eyes, so clear, so wide,
Lives truth we often try to hide.
