Names Written in the Sky

Their names are written not in stone,
But in the lives they left behind,
In every act of kindness shared,
In courage rising from the mind.
They walked that day like any other,
With dreams unfinished, words unsaid,
Yet now they live in memory’s light,
In every tear the nation sheds.
On Patriot Day, we lift our eyes
And honor what can’t be replaced,
Carrying their legacy
In unity, in hope, in grace.
