The summer sun has gone away,
A brand-new school year starts today.
With backpacks packed and pencils bright,
We greet the morning full of light.

New friends to meet and teachers too,
New lessons waiting, things to do.
From reading books to solving sums,
Exciting learning always comes.

We share, we laugh, we play, we grow,
There’s so much knowledge we can know.
Each day is full of fun and cheer,
A perfect start to a new year.
