Author: Christmas Eve

A Silent Night

The night is calm, the stars are bright,
The world is hushed this Christmas night.
We pause to think of all we’ve done,
Of battles lost and battles won.

Yet here we sit in soft embrace,
A firelight warms each weary face.
The gifts we share are more than gold,
They’re memories treasured, never old.

So let this night remind us all,
To rise with hope should troubles call.
For peace and love will always stay,
This wondrous, silent Christmas Eve day.
