Beneath the tree, the ornaments shine,
Each one a memory, yours and mine.
The air is filled with carols sweet,
And joyful laughter on the street.

But more than gifts or festive cheer,
The spirit of Christmas draws us near.
It lives in kindness, hearts that care,
In simple moments we all share.

So light a fire, and light a heart,
Let warmth and love be your part.
This Christmas Eve, both near and far,
May hope and joy be where you are.
