“The House That Held Us”
Your home still echoes laughter’s sound,
A place where safety always found.
Warm meals, soft words, a guiding hand,
The best parts of who I am.
Grandparents Day reminds me still
Of lessons learned on windowsills—
That love lives long, and kindness too,
And all of it began with you.
