Author: Ice Cream Day

“Melting Time”

Ice cream drips like summer hours,
Soft and sweet in warming air.
Each slow melt reminds my heart
That joy is brief, but always fair.

I taste the now before it’s gone,
A fleeting pleasure, cool and kind—
Like happiness, it asks of us
To stay awake, to taste, to mind.
