Author: Ice Cream Day

“Summer Philosophy”

The cone leans crooked in my hand,
Gravity wins, as it must do.
Ice cream laughs at all my plans—
A sticky mess, but honest too.

Life, like this scoop, will never wait
For perfect timing, perfect scenes.
So eat it now, before it falls—
That’s wisdom wrapped in sugar cream.
