! ! Who's First To Bat?

‘What is it like to be a bat? ’
Sprigge asked the question first;
then Thomas Nagel took it up
with philosophic thirst;

What is it like to be a bat?
Who knows? Bats aren't so chatty…
but if you asked a bat, I guess
he’d say, ‘Well.. kinda batty..’
