! In The Steps Of Rumi 83: Watch And Pray..

Sages of the east say,
the first cry of the new-born baby
and the last breath of the dying
together make up the divine Name..

in the meantime...
remember, and listen..

sages of the west say,
birds fly, fishes swim, and man prays..

remember what it was
you should be praying for;
listen for the answer...

maybe a sage will pass tomorrow;
maybe you'll be at the window.

Sages like questions;
never enough.
