Sounds Of Saturday

''ching~ ching, ching, ching''~
tree bells chime in the wind
a ring of crows squawk
a handyman bangs
'people talk
a car breaks squeal
dishes clank, as they get put in a sink
as crickets drone in mass concert

all these sounds of never stillness
un-orchestrated, I take them in,
un-affected by busy little lives conducted
these sounds become, profoundly b i g
'Until a fly buzzes past my nose
riding on a wavy breeze
that c o o l s me~
and I swat-at-it!
