I lost my heart today-
when I tripped over the curb
somewhere between mainstream reality
and incoherent dreaming

Love took a flight over seas-
I worry he won't make it back.
I'm paranoid, but he loves
in-spite of weakness


My greatest fear:
I control nothing

he says he'll come back for me,
but there was a moment, in his voice
where I sensed
the crack in his foundation
came from an inner fear:
he wants to give me the world-
the one from off his back
