History's Sorrow

History's Sorrow

Curled up like a foetus,
in death I'll rest my case.
No faith left in this earthly life,
I'm tired of the human race.
With nostalgic eyes abiding,
my history uncertain as it may be,

my ancestors laid in crippled mines,
and the truth is at the bottom of the sea.
