Tarah, S Dollhouse

I will make you a dollhouse, Tarah
to capture the dreams of a child.

A place to engross in make believe,
designed, to completely beguile.

I will paint using surplus rainbows,
each surface the colour of fun.

Then litter the stairwell with kisses,
to tickle as wandering finger-tips run.

I will carefully fashion small furniture,
little rooms, in the olde worlde style.

Tiny beds - slightly worn out blankets
and a kettle that warms to your smile

It is almost finished, nearly complete,
just a latch to adhere to a yellow door.

Then yes, you can take it home dear,
grandma has plans to make more.
