From a night time apparition, better known as a Dream,
perhaps within a Dream and a dark perditious scheme,
which made for a thrillingly, chillingly esoteric theme,
the kind that the Edgar Allan Poe, penned smooth as cream,
each line crisp and clean, fresh and tight as an ironed seam.

There be none to pen such gripping lines,
this wordsmith of Great Classic times;
Pioneer of Contemporary poetry,
Inventor of the mystery story,
and Macabre... his true Life story.
