Deaths Overture Passage I I- [ In Search Of Closures Covenant ]

And, Death... when you come for me,
I'll ask but one request;
that you deign me the courage to fear not
..............................................,
this mystery I have long feared....dreaded
on this journey from all I've known,
to a place I've never been;
a place supposedly far from wherever
and supposedly precious as flawless diamond.
Still, I need to understand
if the gold be cloaked with shimmer
or tarnish...please don'; t think me obtuse.
Just tell me...............................,
and I will say my last prayer,
then close my eyes.

And Death, I want to tell those
who may be in grieve for their loss-
that I have met you...,
that you bore no horns,
I have felt you...
that you harbour no spite,
no affliction, discomfit,
no eyes rimmed in hollow sockets,
as portrayed by the brush of Dali;

but instead...,
flawless peace, clear and trancic,
to my languid eye's.
And, Death....I beg to see-
all this, and all the more,
so I know...that somehow, God and You-
might be as One.

Death, I believe you be misconceived,
as the break of birth be as well.
For birth is merely the onset of You...,
And You, the onset of Lifes Forever.....,
and so on...................................................
