By The White Streams Of Killclarke...(Rev. / Rep.)

And, the stream was long and narrow
Running 'side Bragh's crooked marrow
'neath the smoked-black, wooded bark
Through the dark woods of Killclarke

And for Twilights scarlet face
We asked breeze to find its' place
Off the windbreaks and shadows
Silhouettes of nesting sparrows

Wings juxtaposed, flanked in ''V
Breaking flank in serpentine
Chasing chimes from Bridget's Church
To the goldenrod 'neath the birch

'Bove our heads windpipes in whistle
Stroking prickled flowered thistles
Painting colours, shades of green
An Artist's perfect twilight scheme

And, could life yet get any better
Then with you, and me together
Sharing love in the wooded dark
By the White Streams of Killclarke
