syllabic/Metric requirement of
Traditional Haiku (5 - 7 - 5)



Three Hands To A Clock,
Shortest One Be The Slowest;
The Other two...Lap.

The Hour Hand Guides
The Minutes And The Seconds-
Like Sand And The Tide.

Yet The Third Hand Speeds
Like A Relay Race Anchor;
I Guess Time Does Fly.
