One foot before the other

Two feet working together

Three feet away from harm

Four feet from rabid Wolfe

Three feet & getting closer

Two feet running faster

One foot trips o'er the other

Two feet now in jeopardy

Three limbs in the Wolf's clamped mouth

Two more feet he'd been safely home
