The Kinda' Stuff That Killed Vaudville {in Couplets, No Less}
'Let sleeping dogs lie', is what they say,
whoever the hell these 'THEY' are;
And besides how I abhor all cliché-
in poetry, essay, a note from a jar.
And what tom-foolish that cliché be,
One not need think a helluva' lot
For if a dog wants to fib or lie
He's going to... be he sleeping or not!
