An Early Night

Silence has arrived,
in all the chambres,
pillows are fluffed
and there is barely a hint
of the softness of down,
a distant memory
of Yolanda, the goose,
cousins perhaps,
but the glistening
of what soothes
was made
in the lab of Synthetico.
How fitting
to focus,
head over tail,
on the strange meeting
of two worlds.
Amongst all this nudity.
This was written for my little Gina.
