A coward is a person who
could never wear another's shoe.
There is a pattern you should know
they're good in putting on a show.
Once they have given the impression
that they can supersede depression
and that their hearts are on your side
they have you fooled, from far to wide.
They talk a lot of how their kin
committed daily a new sin.
And how they drank and smoked the pot
but they conveniently forgot
that apples are not to be found
far from the tree's immediate ground.
A coward may not know for years
that devils do create your fears.
