Rhyme Games

Anything human that tends to be sweet
has its own fanclub, ready to eat.
Sugar and spices like cinnamon, neat
get you glycemic, that's when you meet
little sweet fungi, candida gleet.
You may like sugar, sweetness and heat,
I say the sour one is more discreet.
